Galactic Core is operated by TYBRITE TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED ("Tybrite", "we", "us"), trading as Tybrite Labs. This policy explains how payments for your Galactic Core subscription work — and how refunds to your own customers work, which is a different thing entirely. In short: try it free for a month before you pay anything, and once a payment is made it isn't refunded — it pays for service we've already provided.
Effective 27 July 2026
1.Try it free before you pay
Every plan starts with a free month, and we don't ask for a card to start it. You build your store, add your products, connect your payment account, and sell — without entering payment details. The free month runs for one month from when you set your store up, it includes the premium feature set, and it's available once per account owner.
This is deliberate, and it's the reason the rest of this policy is strict: you get a full month of the real product, at no cost and no risk, to decide whether it fits your business. Nothing is crippled during it and no charge appears at the end of it unless you choose a plan and enter payment details yourself.
If Galactic Core isn't right for you, the free month is where you find that out — before any money changes hands.
And if the month ends without you picking a plan, your store stays live. It moves to our entry-level tier: the premium features pause, but nothing goes dark, you keep selling, and your data stays yours. You're never charged for a plan you didn't choose.
2.Payments already made are not refunded
When you pay for a subscription period, that payment is not refundable.
Your subscription pays for access to the platform for the period you bought — and that service is provisioned and delivered to you the moment the payment goes through. Your store runs, your orders process, your data is hosted and backed up, and the infrastructure behind it is paid for on our side. The service isn't returnable once used, so the payment for it isn't returnable either.
This applies to:
monthly and annual subscription payments, including a renewal;
usage charges above your plan's included limits, once the usage has happened;
any period you've paid for but didn't use as much as you expected.
We don't pro-rate a partly-used period, and we don't refund unused time — on a monthly plan or an annual one. If you cancel three months into an annual term, you keep the platform for the remaining nine months you paid for; you don't get those nine months back in cash.
We never charge a card you didn't give us. No payment is ever taken without you choosing a plan and entering payment details.
3.Cancelling
You can cancel at any time. There's no lock-in, no cancellation fee, and no notice period.
To cancel, email billing@tybritelabs.com from the address on your account and we'll action it. We acknowledge within 2 business days.
Cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. Once a renewal payment has been taken it covers that new period and isn't refunded, so timing is what matters. Your renewal date is in your billing settings, and we email a reminder at 7, 3, and 1 days before an upcoming renewal.
Cancelling doesn't delete your store or your data. Your catalog, orders, customers, and books remain yours, and you can export all of it from your dashboard.
4.Changing plan mid-period — you get time, not cash
If you move to a different plan partway through a period you've already paid for, the value of the time you haven't used isn't refunded in money. It's carried over as bonus days on your new plan — we work out what your unused time was worth and convert it into extra days at the new plan's daily rate.
So nothing you paid for is lost when you switch; it just comes back to you as service rather than as a payment reversal.
5.When we do put money back
Two situations, both narrow and both about correcting an error rather than refunding service.
A billing error on our side. If we charged you the wrong amount, charged you twice for the same period, charged you after you cancelled, or charged you for a plan you didn't select, that's our mistake and we fix it — we return the difference, or the full amount where the charge shouldn't have happened at all. Write to billing@tybritelabs.com with your invoice and we'll investigate and correct it.
Where the law requires it. Some countries give buyers a statutory refund or cancellation right that a contract can't remove. Where such a right applies to you, it applies — this policy doesn't override it, and we'll honour it.
Beyond those two, refunds aren't given: not for changing your mind after paying, not for not using the platform as much as you planned, not for a feature you expected but didn't confirm was included, and not for a downgrade mid-period.
A note on outages. If we have a significant outage, tell us. We don't refund subscription payments for downtime, but where we've agreed a written service-level commitment with you, that agreement's remedy applies. Live status is at status.tybritelabs.com.
6.Refunds to your own customers — a different thing
This is the part merchants most often need clarified, so it's explicit.
Money your shoppers pay you never passes through Tybrite. You connect your own payment account, and their payments settle into it directly. We don't hold your sales revenue and we're not a party to the payment between you and your customer.
So refunds to your customers are yours to issue, from your own payment account, under your own store's refund policy. Galactic Core gives you the tools — you process a return or a refund in your dashboard and your books, stock, and the customer's record all update — but the decision is yours and the money moves out of your account, not ours.
Two consequences worth stating:
Your store needs its own refund policy for your customers. This policy is between you and Tybrite; it says nothing about what you owe your shoppers, and it isn't a substitute for the consumer-law obligations you have to them.
We can't refund your customer for you, and we can't reverse a payment in your payment account. Your payment processor's own rules and timelines govern that.
On a marketplace: payments are split and paid out by the payment processor directly to each seller. Where a marketplace running on Galactic Core holds a payment while a buyer confirms delivery, the payment processor holds it — not Tybrite — and it's released or returned according to that marketplace's own published terms.
7.Chargebacks
If you think a charge from us is wrong, email us before you raise a chargeback with your bank. We'd rather fix a genuine mistake in a day than spend six weeks on a dispute — and we do fix them.
A chargeback against a legitimate subscription charge may cause us to suspend the account while it's resolved, since the payment for the period has been reversed.
the invoice number or the date and amount of the charge,
what you think went wrong.
We acknowledge within 2 business days and aim to resolve billing questions within 10 business days. Where we do return money, it goes back to the payment method it came from, and how long it takes to appear is up to your bank or card issuer — usually 5–10 business days.
9.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes apply to payments made after the new version takes effect — we don't apply a change retroactively to a payment you've already made. For material changes we'll give account owners at least 14 days' notice and update the effective date above.
