These terms govern your use of Galactic Core. Galactic Core is operated by TYBRITE TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED ("Tybrite", "we", "us"), trading as Tybrite Labs. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them — so please read them before you register your business or invite your team.
Effective 27 July 2026
1.Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between you — the business that registers an account — and TYBRITE TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED, trading as Tybrite Labs.
Galactic Core is built for businesses, not consumers. When you accept these terms you confirm you are acting on behalf of a business and that you have the authority to bind it. If you're using Galactic Core as a sole trader, that business is you.
Everyone you invite into your account — staff, managers, contractors, your developer — is covered by these terms, and you're responsible for what they do in your account.
2.Your account
You need an account to use Galactic Core. Keep your details accurate, keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account.
You decide who on your team has access and what they can do. Those permissions are yours to manage from your dashboard, and the activity of anyone you've given access to counts as yours.
You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country, and you can't use Galactic Core if we're barred from providing it to you under trade sanctions or similar law.
3.What Galactic Core does
Galactic Core is the system that runs the business behind your store: your products and stock, checkout and payments, customers, orders and returns, your books, and your reporting — in person, online, and across the sales channels you connect.
We provide the platform. What you sell, and to whom, is your business. You're responsible for your products, your prices, your customer service, your tax, and for following the laws that apply to what you sell and where you sell it.
4.Your data stays yours
You own your business data — your catalog, your customers, your orders, your books. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of it to us.
We use it to run the platform for you, and only for that: to operate your store, process the payments you ask us to, keep your books, produce your reports, and provide support. We don't sell it. We don't use your customer lists for our own marketing. How we handle personal information is set out in the Privacy Policy.
You can export your data from your dashboard whenever you want, while your account is open and for a reasonable period after you close it.
5.Plans, billing, and renewals
Every plan starts with a free month — no card required. You only enter payment details when you choose to continue on a paid plan.
Once you're on a paid plan:
Fees are those shown on the pricing page for the plan and billing period you pick, in the currency shown at checkout.
Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price for your plan, until you cancel.
Usage above your plan's included limits is billed as usage on top of your subscription. It never blocks your store — it's shown in your dashboard before it's charged, and it appears as its own line on your invoice.
Prices exclude taxes unless stated otherwise. Taxes, bank charges, and currency-conversion costs are yours.
If we change the price of a plan, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to your renewal, so you can decide whether to continue.
Payments already made are not refunded. Full detail, and the narrow exceptions for billing errors, are in the Refund Policy.
6.Cancelling, and what happens next
You can cancel at any time — no lock-in, no cancellation fee, no notice period. Email billing@tybritelabs.com from the address on your account and we'll action it.
Cancelling doesn't delete your store or your data. Your catalog, orders, customers, and books remain yours, and you can export all of it from your dashboard. Paid features stop being available once your subscription ends.
When your free month ends without you choosing a paid plan, your store stays live. It moves to our entry-level tier — the premium features pause, but nothing goes dark and you keep selling.
You keep what you've paid for. If you cancel partway through a period, your plan runs to the end of that period rather than stopping on the day you cancel.
If a payment fails, we'll tell you, and what happens next depends on your billing period.
On a monthly plan, paid features pause when the payment fails. Settle the amount and they resume straight away.
On an annual plan, everything keeps working for 7 days while you sort it out. We'll email you each of those days and show the date in your dashboard. If it's still unpaid after that, paid features pause.
Either way your data stays yours. When paid features pause, your dashboard closes except for two things you always keep: renewing, and downloading a full copy of your store's data — catalog, orders, customers, and books. Everything comes back exactly as it was the moment payment goes through, and your API keys keep working too: there are no new keys to issue and nothing to redeploy.
Where you change plans partway through a period you've paid for, the unused value is carried over as bonus days on the new plan rather than returned as money — see the Refund Policy.
7.Payments your customers make
This is the important distinction, so it's stated plainly.
Money your customers pay you is yours, and it doesn't pass through us. You connect your own payment account — your own payment processor — and shopper payments settle into it directly on that processor's terms and timetable. Tybrite doesn't take custody of your sales revenue, doesn't hold it, and isn't a party to the payment between you and your customer.
Two things follow:
Refunds to your customers are yours to issue, through your payment account, under your own store policy. We give you the tools; the decision and the money are yours.
Your payment processor's terms apply to you as well as ours. If they suspend or close your payment account, we can't override that.
Where you run a marketplace on Galactic Core, payments to your sellers are split and paid out by the payment processor directly to them. Tybrite still never holds the funds.
8.What you may not do
Don't use Galactic Core to break the law, and don't use it to:
sell anything illegal where you're selling it, or anything your payment processor prohibits;
deceive your customers about what they're buying, what it costs, or who they're buying from;
launder money, process payments for someone else's business as though they were yours, or disguise the nature of what you sell;
infringe someone else's trademark, copyright, or other rights;
upload malware, or try to break, overload, probe, or get around the platform's security and access controls;
scrape or bulk-extract other people's data from the platform, or resell access to Galactic Core except under a partner or agency arrangement we've agreed in writing.
If you break these rules we may suspend your account. Where the breach is serious — fraud, a security threat, illegal sales, or something that puts other merchants or our payment partners at risk — we may suspend immediately and without notice. Otherwise we'll tell you what's wrong and give you a chance to fix it.
9.Availability and support
We work to keep Galactic Core available and fast, and we publish live platform status at status.tybritelabs.com.
We do plan maintenance, and we'll give you notice before planned work that we expect to interrupt service. Urgent security work, and events outside our control, can interrupt it without notice.
We don't promise the platform will never be unavailable, and we don't promise it will be free of faults. Where we've separately agreed a written service-level commitment with you, that agreement applies on top of these terms.
10.Changes to the platform
Galactic Core is actively developed — we add and improve things continuously, and that's part of what you're paying for.
We can change how features work. If we're removing a feature you rely on, or making a change that materially reduces what your plan gives you, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email or in your dashboard.
11.Third-party services you connect
You can connect Galactic Core to other services — your payment processor, your shipping, accounting, email, and marketing tools, and the sales channels you sell on.
When you connect one, you're authorising us to exchange the data needed to make it work. Those services have their own terms and their own privacy practices, and we're not responsible for how they operate or for what they do with data you send them. If a third party changes or withdraws its service, the integration may stop working through no fault of ours.
12.Our intellectual property
Galactic Core — the platform, its software, and its branding — belongs to Tybrite. These terms give you the right to use it while your account is active; they don't give you ownership of it, and they don't let you copy, resell, or reverse-engineer it.
If you send us feedback or a feature suggestion, we're free to act on it without owing you anything for it. You keep your own brand and content; nothing here gives us rights over your trademarks beyond displaying them to run your store.
13.Confidentiality
Each of us may learn non-public information about the other. We'll each keep the other's confidential information confidential, use it only for what these terms contemplate, and protect it with reasonable care.
14.Liability
Galactic Core is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we don't give implied warranties — including that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost sales, lost data, or business interruption — even if we knew it was possible.
Our total liability to you, for everything arising out of these terms in any 12-month period, is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing here excludes liability that can't legally be excluded — including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some places don't allow the exclusions above, and where that's the case they apply only as far as the law permits.
You're responsible for your own store's obligations — your tax, your consumer-law duties to your customers, your product claims, and refunds to your shoppers. If someone brings a claim against us because of what you sold or how you sold it, you'll cover us for it.
15.Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction over any dispute — without affecting any right you have under the mandatory law of the country you're in.
Talk to us first. Most problems are a misunderstanding or a bug, and they get solved faster by email than by lawyers. Write to legal@tybritelabs.com and we'll work with you in good faith to resolve it before either of us starts proceedings.
16.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms — because the product changes, or because the law does.
For material changes we'll give account owners at least 14 days' notice by email or in your dashboard before they take effect, and we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Galactic Core after that date means you accept the updated terms. If you don't, you can cancel.
Questions about these terms
Write to legal@tybritelabs.com and a person will answer — we'd rather explain a clause than have you agree to something you're unsure about. For anything else, support@tybritelabs.com.
